what a terrible weekend

i have just watched the english choke the life out of the australian rugby team
and followed by the french somehow mugging the all blacks (again)

not a good weekend so far and all that is left is too hope that fiji can upset south africa

commiserations to all the rugby supporters

There wasn't much life to throttle out of the Wallabies I reckon.
They played like actual Wallabies standing on the road, wide eyed in the headlights, waiting for someone to run them over.
George Gregan can now enjoy his long overdue retirement. Pity he had to drag Latham and Mortlock down with him.

Although Latham's halfway fg attempt was quite puzzling:?

Gotta say we played like crap - but New Zealand played well - Just France played better.

Go France for the cup - that would be funny.....

unfortunately i think england look good for it and may want some revenge against sth africa for the hammering they took

strange how everyone from australia and newzealands groups are gone, whilst one and two from the other pools are still there, maybe the seedings were suspect?
