Enlarged throat area

Hello DF,

I’m just a new to Discus (one blue diamond and one yellow, about 5cm ), and have a question regarding the throat area on the discus, I’ve noticed that the area looks bigger than the discus pic’s on the site.

I was wondering if that is a sign of illness ?
