I have these damn small cone snails that I pick out of the tank every week.

I was wondering if there was some food type I could put in the tank that would attract them to one spot so I could take them out of the tank easier.

A snail trap would be great...I am scared of using copper treatment.

i've used a film canister with a hole in the lid, put some food in at lights out, take out and empty before the lights come on.

I have used a blanched lettuce leaf put a small stone on it to keep it down, when the lights go off check every few hours, use a fish net to lift the leaf out shake off snails and go again.

Those damn cone snails are actually quite helpful. They won't touch your plants but will eat all the leftover food and move your substrate over which is good for plant growth.
If you really want to get rid of them you can either trap them in a film cannister with a bit of minced meet in it or go for really soft water. Not enough calcium in the water to built up a shell.
Flubenol will also kill your snails but you will have to collect all the dead ones or risk ammonia spikes from all the rotting snails
