Don't you love my heckels
....never seen such a huge ones, they are 20cm and fat and healthy

Lightspectrum is pretty good, didn't expect it to be so beautifull
in reall the light is just a little TO white...at this moment there is 2x 150watt hqi 10.000 kelvin, I try to find 8500 kelvin...just a little warmer and little less blue (makes to hard) that would be perfect

Look at other tanks, when you see one you like, try to find out WHY you like it...did they use some special would, it is the fish, zand or maybe the selected plants...that way you will also create your dreamtank

This is one seriously awsome tank. Although it was beautiful, even before the addition of plants, the plants add so much more to it's beauty IMO. But then, I am always biased towards a planted tank. I'd be keeping the plants, if I were you.

Now, if the wilds had only been in the shot, it would have been perfect.

This is one of the nicest tanks I think I've ever see for Discus. I like it planted and un-planted, either way.

The white discus is out, and for now just the other 6 left, want some more but they have to be same size as the other and also match in color.

I had 8 of them but after a mistake I lost 5 of them, I have 3 left and I prey each and every day there will come a pair from those

They are F1 and breeded in holland, I have seen the parents....WOW

The tank is 300*70*70, it's filled up to 65 height, so that makes 300x70x65 = 1365 liters, furthers I use a 200*50*50 filter system with about 350 liters.

Together 1715 liters

I am extremely jealous of your set up. To me, its the perfect look (although would have used a smaller amount of plants to keep the rugged look rather then the more lush look). I absolutely love it. If you have a high resolution photo, would you mind email it to me so i can use it as a desk top on the Mac? Thanks for the inspiration. :wave2
