Preventative treatment for Discus

Is there a standard protocol for preventative treatment of common discus diseases and worming that I should routinely follow i.e. weekly,monthly dosing etc, that will keep my discus healthy.

Not really. You want to use drugs on your fish as sparingly as possible and only when you know that there is definitely a problem and what the problem is. Having said that I wormed my fish 3-4 times a year but I had over 700 fish at times and others coming in and out of my fish room on a regular basis so the potential for problems was far greater.

If your fish are just looking a bit off colour add some sea salt to your water, I find it a great first point of attack with niggly little issues.
