Just moved house and in the process of setting up the tank. I have to scale down the number of aquariums however i'd love to maximise the potential...
was wondering whether i can keep a breeding pair of bristlenose in the 2ft sump (say where you normally have a refugium in a marine tank, so it's around 1 ft)? here is the debate so far:
+ i can never catch them once i put them into the planted tank
+ they love the current
+ they love the darkness
+ i can still keep my breeding pair
+ they won't be disturbed by my corys
- they produce a lot of waste
- i can't see them
what do ppl think? i am sure i've missed a lot of points. pls help
