Hi all
i was just wondering if people here use gelatine when mixing metro in food. when i made my first batch of food, i didnt use it, my fish were eating the food without any problems.
someone then told me than that gelatine needs to be added so that metro binds to the food since discus will not consume it/spit it out.
my new batch has gelatine in it, i fed it to them in the last couple of days because i saw some white faeces in the tank but they haven't been eating it too eagerly and when they start eating and do their usual chewing and spitting out it looks very similar to what they do with the food without gelatine and small bits still break off.
so, should gelatine be used ?
thanks
