Hi All,

I've posted this on the Angel froum and not much responses, but I've taken few pictures of them and wondering what you guys think of the quality.
Here is my initial thread
http://www.discusforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13795

They look very nice and I was told the water is from tannins extract that is why it is brownish in colour.

Are they ok to keep with discus? 1 is around 8cm and the other is 5cm. I want a 2nd opinion on this question as I have already ask the owner.

Many thanks
Cheers

Dont keep these with discus, give them their own tank with maybe a couple of bristlenoses for clean up and some tetras for food, everyone whos tried has had VERY bad results keeping altums with anyother type of ciclid (including discus)

yep, highly recommended to keep altums by itself!
and i wouldnt add any new fish to the tank once they are established! the chance of them dying by adding new fish to the tank is pretty high!

You have to keep them by themselves with no other Cichlids. You cannot add any other Angelfish/discus etc later either the biggest no no is adding more Altums or any other type of Angel fish. ie: Once you put them in the tank NO other angelfish or cichlids get added.
The fish must be kept totally separate from any other fish capable of infecting them with anything.
