hi...i've got an aqua one 2400 and an older fluval 403 as well as an internal sponge.i know that the filters should be cleaned when the flow rate is slow, but how slow is slow?its a 6x2 with 12 discus. is there a general time frame, for example every 6 months or so and whats the procedure with cleaning them, as far as watching out for the bio load.do you just change the wool and leave the rest intact, wash part of the bio, or some other way?...thanks
