sick discus???

hi all...i have a discus that is acting strangely...seems to hover a lot pointing upwards, breathing heavily, yet at other times swims normally. i notice that he has one fin tucked flat against his body when he does this, and kinda twists himself sideways .fish have been treated for all parasites, worms etc....any ideas?

how is your water and ammoina ?or nitrate.
it could be gill prob . is one gill plate closed?

thanks scott...all the parameters seem fine, gill plates seem ok, and i noticed tonite that he had the other fin flat against him, seems like he's taking it in turns! he's eating well and swimming normally at other times so i don't know what to do....will keep an eye on him and whack him in an isolation tank if he gets worse. don't wanna lose him tho...he's a cute little fella!
