fiter medium????

i have an aquanova canaster filter to suit a 4x20x20 tank and im wondering what type of filter medium i should add to it.i have heard they need more medium can someone help me out im a bit confussed.

hi boydie i would use the sponge . some filter wool. and some seachem matrix, i think i have ceramic noodles in mine too. but you should be ok with what i have said . what is in yours ? scott

hi mate try the LFS if you cant get it there you can order it from ASA a sponser on this site they will help you .as for how much to use just fill one of the trys with it or even 1/2 full . but its a awesome product .
