Samir & Nicholas: I have no idea, for the moment, if it is a male or a female. The history is as follows: 3 years ago, a friend of mine had got 4 juvenile samples of San Merah, imported from Thailand. He grew them with a big care and in a professional way, these fishes being the proud of his tanks. The problem is that, although he has an important experience in discus breeding from now, he doesn’t get any spawning from them (no even shaking or attempting to clean the cone). Finally, after a lot of time lost, he decided to sell them. From my point of view, I decided to try my fortune with one of them. From those 4, one of them is a huge “Godzilla” of about 19 cm, and is surely a male, other two are guaranteed females, and for the last (mine one), there are many different opinions. For me, this was a challenge, moreover… and a small chance, if it exit, I consider that it is worth to try :)
From now on, I’ll keep you in touch with casual events.
