Another Question For Someone :) As I Am Getting Closer To Setting Up My Aquarium I Have A 18Watt UVC, Will It Do Anything Working In Conjunction With The FX5 .Is There Any Advantage In Using It With A Fluval FX5 Pumping Water Through It ?"Due To The High Flow Rate Of The FX5 Or Am I Just Wasting Money On The Power Bill"

Cheers :D

complete waste of time using a 18w UV on a FX5.

36watt would be the minimum ...72 watt would be better.

Either that or get a small filter dedicated to running just some filter media and the UV.

You need a slow flow rate past the UV globe for it to do any good.
