Fluidised Bed Filters

anyone know how to calculate the flow rate needed for a Fluidised Bed Filter?

I'm looking to attach one inline after my eheim pro 3 (2080) on my 650L so thats a flowrate of about 1200lph (thank you Taksan).

Would the Pentair Aquatics (Lifegard) Fluidized Bed Filter FB300 or FB600 be a better choice?

sorry people, please forgive my laziness :oops: another 1/2 hour on goole and i found this.


The FB900 has a recommended maximum flow rate of 200gph

so i guess I'll be using a FB900 for my pro 3, and bypassing 1/3 of the flow into my co2 reactor.
