thought of a way to use less meth blue while still getting the desired result.
if you use 40mm or 50mm pvc as a spawning substrate try getting hold of
some clear 100mm perspex tube. cut to length so that when put over the pvc it sticks out of the top of the water. the parents can still see the eggs and when you take the tube away the meth blue disperses and doesn't stain everything.
