I dont have one a UV sterilizer, and with the reactor being inline with my cannister now, what would be the easiest way to hook up one of these, if I decide to? I also like not having very much equipment visible in the tank, so what is recommended, keeping cost, and space constraints in mind?
Thanks very much :D

Hi Erik
u can run a separate pump for ur UV unit if u want to which u can hide in ur cabinet with the UV unit. by the sounds of ur cannister u might have too much flow for a UV unit anyway, from what iv'e read u should try and run the water through the UV unit slowish so that the water has more time in the unit to do the job rather than it gushing through it and not getting enough time for the UV to work properly.
something like these would do the job "depending on the size of the UV sterilizer"

i'm now using one of these on my external reactor too and there very quiet.

Thanks fish_r :D So I would hook up another intake tube, with the tube going into that pump, and then tubing back out through the uv, up into the tank?
I think Ive read that the pump or flow from the pump should be double what the uv says?
I would like to cut down the chances of parasites getting into my tank, and also, to help control the free floating algae?
Thanks again :D
