Name Please

I only bought this Discus a couple of weeks ago. Could somebody please tell me what it is called. I think at the LFS they called it a Turquoise Green.

Hi Scott,

I have only had him about 2 months. He is not very old as he was quite small when I bought him. He has grown quite a bit since. I hope he is not going to stay brown.

browns can grow up to be very pretty fish, the contrast between the blue and the brown can look stunning and the vertical bars really do add contrast in adult fish.

hi dearra see if you can get some shots from other angles but i think it will colour up if its only small as you say

At the moment, he certainly looks like a brown. But I wouldn't be too unhappy about that.

Good quality browns are as rare as hen's teeth, and he's a nice looking fish. :P
