I have been feeding my juvy discus as often as I can. Over the last 4 months, the fish have grown pretty well, at least I would like to think so. :) I got my discus in early March and they were just 2.5" or less. Now they are 3.5" to almost 4", I think. Is that normal growth rate, slow, or fast? Anyhow, starting when should I reduce the feeding frequency?

OK, since no response, let me rephrase my question. How often should I feed adult discus? Also, at what age is a discus considered adult?

Twice a day is plenty for an adult, i'd concider a fish an adult at 2yrs or 5 inches

OK thanks! So, probably about 7 to 8 months in age (I had my juvies for 4 months when they were 2.5" and I am asusming that it takes about 3 months to grow to that size), mine are more than a year away from the adulthood.
