Can sucker fish be in the same tank

Currently I have a suckerfish in my tank, together with a pair of discus. Everytime she lays eggs, I will remove the suckerfish, afraid that he will eat the eggs. Actually, is that really necessary, or can I just leave the sucker in the tank while my discus are breeding? Thanks.

nono if you leave the suckers in the tank mate they will end up eating the egg or fry every time mate. It is better to take them out .
