This week I went to a local fs. He had one Discus which was very sick. He was going to put it in another tank filled with oscars. I convinced him to take it and try to cure it. Although I am not certain what kind of disease it has, the most visibile signs were a pop-eye covered with a white slime, sides of the fish were covered with a fungal like infection and pectoral fins seems to have been eaten. Here are some pics of the fish.

Got some shots, this evening but will try to get better pics

Perhaps also try some salt in his water (at the appropriate dose - check other threads as I don't know the dose rate for salt off the top of my head).

And don't try too many meds at once, treat the most life threatening problems first (body infectionss), then move onto the less 'deadly' problems (cloudy eyes), but for now I would say you've started on the right track. Keep the temp up around 30-31C and keep the water as clean as you can. If you do daily water changes remember to add back the meds/salt at the right dose to replace the meds/salt lost in the water changes.

Not a bad looking fish really... you just might save him as he doesn't look totally down and out to me just yet.

Greggy

SALT
Day 1 – 1 tspn per 40 Litres
Day 2 – another 1 tspn per 40 Litres
Day 3 – water change and add salt at to new water only at 1 tspn per 40 Litres
Continue day 3 for 2 weeks.

Constantly check you water parameters (temp, Ph, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate). HTH

I will stop giving him anti-bacterial and anti-biotics. With salt it will help it for the external wounds. I will start as well anti-fungal treatment.
