Ok, yesterday I got a pair of butterfly discus as a payment owed. Well one seems to have finrot pretty bad, and now I notice that same one is only using one gill, the other is clamped tight. WHy?
Am I goign to end up on the losing end of this deal? SHould I take the fish back?

How are your fish going? Are they ok. Sometimes they can clamp up a bit from stress and may calm down and be ok over a few days. Other times it may be more sinister like gill flukes, which can be exacerbated by stress of moving etc.
Try a little salt at a rate of 1 teaspoon per 40 litres. This may also help the finrot if it is not too serious.
