How to post large items

Hello people.
Does anyone know how to ship / post large items from sydney to perth? I am looking at buying an 1800mm long light, but need to find a courier. Also might be handy for anyone that wants to ship in the future. Any hints?

australia post will do it if some guy at the local post office can post motor bike tyres well.......
