For those who remember and those who care, just wanted to let you know how my new additions are doing. After 2 years of unsuccessful attempts at keeping more than one discus, I gave it another try. Added 6 juvies (2.5") to my 90G with one old guy (5") over 10 weeks ago. I lost one of 6. Another one wasn't doing well, but finally came around. Added two more 3 weeks ago. So. I have total of 8 discus in my tank. They are all doing well. Here are some pics.

Congratulaltions, they look happy and healthy in that tank.
Good luck with them this time.
Keep and eye on your water parameters, and they should live a long and healthy life.

Thanks for your support. By the way, what's WTG? Also, I have 8 discus in the tank. So, going by the 10G per discus rule, I can get one more. But, if I keep up with the maintenance, can I keep like 12 discus in the tank? Would that be OK or am I asking for trouble? The tank dimensions are 48"X18"X24" (122X45X61 cm).
One more question. Are my two pigeon bloods (orange ones) going to change color as they grow up, or will they stay the same? Again, thanks for all your help and support.

Glad to hear things are going well for you dntx! :D Those pics look great! I wish I had a bigger tank and I could get away with 8 discus!! Thats so neat!
Someone else will have to help you with your question about more of them, but I wish you good luck!

WTG - way to go :P
I think you should just leave things as they are at the moment, and let those cute little fish settle in.
You are much better being a little understocked, than running your tank at maximum stocking levels.
If you have a power outage in your district, an understocked tank will survive much longer than an overstocked one.
Depending on what you feed your pigeon blood discus, the colour will deepen. If you feed fish foods containing a natural colouring agent, the red colour will certainly increase.
Stay away from any unnatural colour enhancers, some of them can make your discus sterile.
Feeding your fish ground up prawns or shrimp will add to their colour naturally.

Thanks, Eric. WTG, Merrilyn (or LR if you prefer). I will keep the tank where it is, sit back, and enjoy the fish. Of course, keeping up with the current maintenance schedule, currently 75 to 80% water change every three days. I've ordered some tetra bits, so once I start feeding them tetra bits, hopefully, my discus will get better color.
