Breeding Uarus

Hi i know this is a discus disscusion area but i thought i would ask anyway. i have a pair od uaru who layed eggs in my community tank. i woke up this moring and realised that they all have been munched :( i will be moving the pair into their own tank and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to what should be placed in the tank. any help would be great. i would st this up as a discus tank as they breed in similar fashion i have been told bare bottom breeding cone and minimal water movement.
