spooked Discus

Hey

Last night one of my discus got spooked and scrapped itself against i think it was the substrate and ended up like this

I had a closer look this morning and he seems to be fine and doesnt' seem to remember what happened last night. Swimming around confidently around the front of the tank and eating well acting just like normal.

Anyway I'm hoping it will heal just like it used to be! Fingers crossed and going to put it in a seperate tank add some salt and up the temp. to help it heal faster and avoid Infection.
Does that sound about right to treat it?

Dan, that's quite a minor scrape, and you can easily leave the fish in the tank, and he will heal quite quickly.

If you're not happy with the way it's healing, or if it begins to turn red at the edges, then remove him to the hospital tank and treat with salt.
