I am looking to purchase my 3rd tank. This will be the discus display/community/growing out tank. I have decided on 5ft (60 inches) length. I think I'm limited to 18" wide but might push for 20" wide to get extra storage space in the cabinet for fish things (including sump). Considering my options for height.
My supplier said I can have 10" base and 6" glass for 60x20x20 but going higher needs 10" each side. If I do go the 10" then should I choose 18" width and 24" hight or 18" width and 28" height....
The room area can accommodate the height and my largest discus is fully grown.
Appreciate your thoughts. Its a cost benefit argument but I don't want to be regretting a decision in years to come as this tank isn't going to be moved in a long long time!
