A Poll on live food

Your thoughts people.

Do you feed your discus live food ?

blood worm , live brine ect etc

some people believe its the common root of disease whilts others say its the only way to go to promote solid growth in young fish.

we all have an opinion lets poll it and feel free to add further......

will never ever touch it, am going off frozen bloodworms as well, soon as my stock runs out. In future I intend to feed only dry food and beefheart.

I agree with Samir, more trouble than its worth and the drought here does nothing for the quality of Australian Brine Shrimp whether its live or frozen. When I stock up again it will be our own flake, BH and Spirulina.

I feed live mozzi wrigglers (collected from my outdoor ponds) as well as home grown blackworms, and home hatched brineshrimp, so far no probs, I do worm with flagyl every 4-6 months.

i use black worms every now and them and have no probs , i to use mozzi wrigglers that i have at home growen in a tub of water at the side of my house , and only use new hatch brine shrimp with fry , ,

Won't feed live foods. Too much of a risk these days.

Baby brine shrimp is all I'll use.
