Update:
After doing no water changes for 14 days things have started to happen:
1 x pair of A. aggassizi double red spawned
1 x pair of A. aggasiizi tefe (wrigglers, not many but its some).
2 x pair of A. baenschi spawned (pulled one lot of eggs from one pair and the other pair I'm pretty sure have spawned behind a log so cant get to them).
2 x pair A. melgar spawned. One lot eaten by mother? and the other lot are doing well so far after 2 days.
2 x pairs A. rio mamore spawned. One lot of eggs eaten by mother? and have pulled the other pairs eggs. (have only had these fish for a few weeks)
2 x Pair of Pelivichromis nigerian red. Have free swimmers from both pairs. One pair spawned twice, had to move the pair to make room for A. rio mamore so moved fry and eggs. Eggs hatched (~30 odd fry) but they may have been eaten by the older fry which have been free swiming for almost 3 weeks now.
Its an improvement on the last few months, will see how things go with all the eggs etc.

Thats is all great news Mike
Im amazed that just by neglecting the fish a little ,they respond by breeding????

After complaing recently things have taken off.
Currently have A.aggassizi tefe wrigglers, A. melgar wrigglers, A. baenschi wrigglers and eggs. And to top if off one of my Discrosus filamentosis spawned sometime today.
The eggs are wrapped in a kind of gell and at first I thought they were snail eggs except for the female with (as of today) red pectoral guarding the little horseshoe shaped line of gel. She laid on the sponge filter so Ive pulled the sponge out as the Dicrosis share the tank with aggassizi and a pair of baenschis.

Congratulation!!
I think the cooler temperature is the reason - some of mines are starting to spawn again as well (after the summer break).
Thomas.
