We are in the process of negotiating with some of the publishers and print house's to obtain prices on select aquarium books yet to be seen in Australia, and in some cases have access to books not available down here, and magazines as well.

What we would like to know is what do you want?

Obviously the more interest there is, the better chance of getting an even better deal.

Initial price offers will be a once off special price, once any initial orders are fulfilled the prices will increase but still remain well below what the same books are available for now. (an example of pricing - Nature Aquarium World books, 1, 2 & 3 between $30 & $40)

Examples of some specialty titles that we will be getting:

Bleher's Discus, Volume 1 (2006, 271 pages, 3071 photographs)

Baensch Cichlid Atlas, Volume 2 (2006-2007, 1320 pages, 1280 colour photgraphs)

Breeding & Raising Angelfishes (2005, 141 pages, over 200 colour photographs)

500 Freshwater Aquarium Fish: A Visual Reference to the Most Popular Species (2006, 528 pages, over colour 1000 photographs)

Encyclopedia Of Exotic Tropical Fishes For Freshwater Aquariums (2005, 845 pages, over 2800 colour photographs)

Aqualog Asian Arowana (2006, 244 pages, over 350 full gloss colour photgraphs)

...and many more.

Please reply here with the title (and author is possible) of what you want. If it available elsewhere at a good price please also list that price (including shipping, taxes, etc) that way we can be sure you will be getting the best possible price.

This is an EOI only at this stage, please no PM's or e-mails regarding this, all questions and lists to be made here.

Thank you

If so, we will have to check with the suppliers as they dont have them listed on their stock lists.

As per feedback from the publisher, it is still some time before publication on volume 2.

There are posts and articles about this on forums such as UK Discus, DPH, Simply etc.

Volume 2 hasnt even been allocated an ISBN yet, so that would say drafts havent even been printed yet.

The only Discus books that are available by this author as of today are:

Bleher's fish - Wild caught discus

Bleher's Discus - Vol I & Vol II (1992,97)

Bleher's Discus - The Monography, Vol I (2006)

In October/November Heiko Bleher was hoping to have the book ready by Jan/Feb '07, however that has not been the case.

Certainly, we have inventory lists from pretty much all the major suppliers and publishers, both locally and overseas.

Book title and Author is all we need.
