After all my recent problems. Discus are spawning!!

After my recent experience of loosing 5 discus to a mystery illness I now have a pair spawning in my display tank! and it's a great thing to see!! :D

Typical, I've been waiting ages for this to happen as an excuse to get a smaller tank up and running. Instead the small tank is currently occupied by 3 recovering discus.

Shall have to wait and see if they keep on going now and hope that I get them into the smaller tank once the other 3 have left it.

Great news mate!

Give them a few trial spawns in the display tank before moving them but. They might take 15 trys before they don't eat the eggs. :wink:

Thanks mcloughlin2, am I correct in assuming that having spawned once they will probably spawn again?

They ate the eggs last night.

Never mind, this time as I don't have anywhere to put them at the moment anyway!
