Hi all

It was an big and exciting day last Sunday, with the help from Pete and Colin, I bought my breeding setup with a pair of discus! Here is a pic..

The guy also threw in heaps of extras, includes whole lots of pipes he used before.

This morning I thought I might use it to build a Semi-auto water change system.

I'm not sure if you can understand my drawing, but here is an idea.

The only thing i need to do with this system is fill the bottom tank with tap water.. and then leave it heated and aged with two air stone and a 300W heater.

This is the drain part

The pipes on the tank to refill/drain

When i do my water change, plug in this 3000L/H pump, it will pump the water through the system to introduce the syphon, once the pipes are filled up with water, i unplug the pump and turn off the switch on the refill pipe to stop the dirty water come back to my water age tank, also connect a pipe to the outlet to drain the 3 tanks at the same time.

When enough water are drained, i will turn off the switch on the drain pipe, and turn on the refill switch, plug in the pump.. and then thats done!

Let me know how you think, and if there's any improvements can be done?

Cheers
Tony
