Filter media....all these pouches, and no room!

I was wondering if you guys recommend me taking the bio-chem zorb pouch out of my cannister filter? I have a marineland bio-wheel filter on the tank as well as the rena, and that has the standard blue carbon pouch in it, so I feel like the bio-chem zorb in the rena isnt necessary, and I would like to use something other then the carbon pouch in the bio-wheel filter, but I dunno what else to use? I have a nitra-zorb pouch in the rena, since my tap has 20ppm in it to start with, and I would like to get my water tested at the LFS tonight, and I have a phos-zorb pouch to put in there if I need to, which I think I do, which is my main reason for the question, since the rena only has two buckets for media, i am out of room to add any more pouches?
