The female is a classic "pigeon blood" and the male is a crossing between a classic "pigeon blood" and a "pearl pigeon".

mate there are like that everywhere but there need a break to get some energy back, otherwise you wont be able to use them for breeding 6 or 7 years.

Congratulations Viobank, they're lovely fish, and you've done well with the babies.
Good pairs will often have several spawns in a row, then take a rest for 6 months or so, before starting again.

Not reaaly true. In the case of discus they do not need to exert themselves to much or starve themselves (Like in the case of mouthbrooders)
I think a break of 20 days is sufficent providing they have a break every few months or so.
Discus can breed every 2 weeks on the dot with no hassles.

Like I said in other thread, I know very well this fish. The father is a "red marlboro", and the mother is a "snake pigeon". This fish is an exception from the rule. Is an allele caused by a regresive gene that comming up (probably) from an ancient "virgin red".
