View Full Version : Small canister filters

I have a standard two foot tank which I hope to use to breed some corys. Can someone suggest a canister filter that won't turn it into a mini jacuzzi? The emphasis seems to be usually on how much water filters can move. I guess my question is which filters don't move too much. Currently (excuse the pun) I have plenty of filters rated at 1000l or so an hour, what should I buy that will filter only a couple of hundred? I'm presently using an internal powerhead but it doesn't do a lot for the aesthetics of the tank!

Taksan's right, they're a great little filter. I have them on a lot of small tanks and they work like a dream.
You can set the spray bar to skim across the surface of the water for added oxygen exchange, and the current won't be too strong.
