I think my fish are a bit fussy, is there any way to wean them of bloodworm and get them to eat other formulations? I would like to vary their diet a bit.

discus can get "hung up" on their favorite food. stop feeding bloodworms compleatly and try offering the sinking food 4-5times a day (remove the uneaten food 5 min after each feed) in a day or 2 they will start to eat it. feed the new exclusivly for a week or two then start giving the bloodworms again, every 3 or 4 days. thats how i introduce new foods to my fish.

aah you do treat your fish way to kind.
somtimes you need to be cruel to be kind as well.
reduce the live food feeds and start feeding small volumes of tetra bit untill feeding time only consists of tetra bit.
keep it up even if they dont eat it.
several days later they will start eating tetra bit when hungar kicks in.
