In the last day, I have noticed that my gold spot pleco has been hanging off my larger discus. Anyone know what causes this?

The discus don't seem to be to worried by it, they just move a little and it moves away.

Just find it quite odd.

yeah its time to move the pleco on he will suck the slime of your fish and could couse a infection . and take peaces out of the discus too time to go hehe

yep get rod of it

they love the taste of discus slime coat and once they get the taste the never stop loving it. it stresses out your discus and can lead to skin infections and disease.

try normal bn at a small size. they tend to leave the discus alone when young. as they grow older they some times start to suck on discus slime...if they start you just get rid of them and get some new small ones.

Peppermint catfish and common bristlenose catfish are fine with discus.

I think you'd have problems wth any of the large plecos.

Its always a good idea to add a few Discus to your Pleco tanks ... the Plecos love em. 8-)
