Hi gang
Before I start on this tank I would like to have it all planed out.So I will be posting a lot just to make sure stuff ups are kept to a minimum.Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

This is the plan for the sump the only real thing I got stuck on was the drip trays.I cannot run spinners as the bio towers will be narrow but long. I would like some sort of pre-filter before the bio-balls.
Not running weir's strait from 50mm Bulk heads. So I came up with double drip trays the first tray with bigger holes to even out and slow the water flow down when going over the filter wool.Should be no big deal to change the wool just lift lids off and one drip tray.
If you have any comments at all please let me know as I would like to know now before I spend a lot of time building it thx.

I suggest you put your bioballs in the last chamber. ie in the middle instead of the sides. That way you can put more submerged media or you can use a smaller tank for the sump if you dont want to use so much media. With your design at the moment more than half the tank is wasted on empty space

why you dont put the aerodic part on top of the filter so you can use
the full volume of the tank for anaerobic filtration.

Thanks guys I will need a lot of empty space for water over flow when the pumps are off because I will not be running weirs.I am using the 4x2x2 because its sitting around doing nothing and I need a big sump.

Thanks revkev like your updated version especially the first section with the over flow. That solves the problem I had with to much water flow as well so twin towers are now not needed :D
I will post the final plan when finished so you all can pick it to death again :?

Thx
