One of the pair of royal whiptails (and the tail of the other). The picture doesn't give an indication of the size of these! They're huge!

This might give an idea of the size. I think this is the male, with an emperor tetra.
I'm so proud!
They've been sucking up blackworms at a great rate. I hope these are OK for them, but not much I can do about it. They completely ignored the algae wafers and carrot.

do u feed live blackworms ?
from what iv'e read there not too good to feed discus, cause of the increased risk of disease...

Nope, I read that too, so I've gone the frozen. They don't seem any less interested though.
The discus ate beefheart for the first time tonight - it was only froz blackworms & froz brineshrimp before that & the tetras cleaned up the beefheart.
