nice fish especially your pigeon. pigeon actually is actually very nice fish but it is such a pity with the peppering. scott, can you put some pictures for your new fish?

I'm not so bored, but so darn hot today, so here's a pic of one of my discus. what the heck, I don't need such excuses, so here's a pic anyway with no excuse at all to post it :P

You have a great variety of Discus there.
I wish I had of looked around a little more befroe I brought mine.
I guess I will just have to buy more tanks!

ash i go around and look for fish all the time and buy them young as they grow they change and the ones i dont like i usely sell and buy new . mind you i havent sold many lately i like what i have and i do have more at xtreme just have to get over there to get them . and i have 5 tanks so i have heaps may need more tanks my self soon haha ,

hi DE i have 5x2x2 and a2 4x18x18 and 2 3x 14x12 all have discus in them and 2 are planted and yeah there is a lot of fish and there is still more will have to make some more room soon . and get more tanks haha thank you for the comments

hi DE yeas there is to many fish in this tank thats why it is hard work haveing to do water changes all the time but the fish like it ,ha ha the plant in the centre is amazon sword

:shock: you're nearly as bad as me where stocking levels go. how is the recovery going, mine got back to normal with 21 in a 3X2X18" , 90% wc daily, ph of 4.8-5.0 and lots of feeding.
did you get any spots on the fins ? if you did low ph will take care of it.

yeah there still at a low ph 5.0 5.2 and wc every 2 days the fish are in good shape im going to try bring the ph up a little next week and see how i go . they seem happy to me . i still have new fish coming and am worred about it . dont know how long these guys carry for RL said it could be 6 months but i hope not . the new fish will have to go in a tank i have out the back room . ill see thanks for asking

and here was me worrying that 7 discus was over stocking a 5 footer with 2-3 day water changes :shock: :shock: :shock:

some time you can break the rule and get away with it , you just have to know your fish and water well. keep an eye on every thing all the time , and have fun haha
