Hi I have just registered and i am looking round and i think this looks a little strange.
I see the site is new and still not many posts but in time that might change if you make a good site.
Why not let the site speak for itself instead of trying to fudge and doctor the voting results?
The results are not at all accurate if all the members here are voting each and every day
A good site speaks for itself and a good webmaster shouldn't need to prop up his ego by doing this should he. Just make a good site and you wont need to fudge it.

There is no fudging as only one vote can be recorded by each user per day, and I personally condone those that cheat the system...

The site does speak for itself, and will speak for itself, just the extra exposure helps build the member base, creating a more diverse information source for you and everybody else...

I am not targetting #1, rather I would prefer to just be in the top #25, and again, when things grow, announcing the site wont be as important because word of mouth and reputation will take over...

Does that make sense???

Trust me, there is no ego boosting going on, just spreading the word...
