these guys lay every week with out fail but have never rased a fry , i spit them for a while but soon as i put them back together with in days there back at it . she is only very young and i dont know about him so ill just let them go and see what happens. sorry about the glass i havent cleaned it

only got wrigglers once , dont know what hapened to them . but its only been eggs and mostly not firtial they keep going white that is why i separated them .

fungus ? egg eating ? she does seem to lay pretty bunched up.

no fungus but egg eaters only after they go white and yeah she lays very bunched

there's not much wrong with Sydney water, parameters wise, so I'm guessing its your male that has the issue.
