Hi all,

I've just found a piece of driftwood along the beach ovr xmas and I was wondering if anyone has some advice on how to properly treat it before I put it in my aquarium. At present I have a 4 foot, but it will likely be upgraded to a 6 foot one very soon. The piece of driftwood is about 50-60 cm long, so boiling it on the stove is not an option.

If anyone has any advice on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated..

Bleach the timber with some sani-chlor and the rinse with fresh water. Let the wood stand in the sun to get rid of the bleach.
