Settling in

Just out of curiosity, how long approximately did it take everyones discus to fully settle in. eg) Color up, swim freely and rush towards the top during feeding.

I find it quite interesting that all my small fish, such as cardinals seem to eat within 30 minutes of being introduced into the tank and color up quickly.

hi chizzow welcome . all fish are very diffrent some will settle in with in hours and some can take weeks i have had fish that have hiden in the corner for 2 weeks and now it the first to come out and eat . so dont give up i know it hard some times but keep feeding and checking the water and wait and see hope that helps scott

not really worried at all since the fishes are eating when no one is around. Just more or less curious as to how discus settle in compared to other cichlids. From my own experience, cichlids in general seem to settle in pretty quickly. Time will tell :wink:
