I'm just wondering if it is possible to collect your own driftwood in NSW?
I'm after a pretty large piece to go in the 5x2x2 tank. Most of the LFS have tiny pieces and the one that has a piece resembling anything useful want far too much for it and won't negotiate on price despite having it for months.
I live on the Central Coast and was wondering if there are places nearby where I can walk and collect? I've read somewhere that it may not be legal (assume as it is a National Park) and I don't want wood from a beach as it is salty/won't sink.
