5th International Discus Championship Duisburg

Dear Discusfriends,

Hereby I would like to inform you all about our activities during the 5th International Discus Championship in Duisburg (Germany) which will be from sept. 29 till oct. 3.

During this championship we will have online webcams, chatsessions with famous discusbreeders and authors like Bernd Degen, Johnny Yip, Dieter Untergasser, Horst Köhler and many many more.

Also there will be an online voting for an official "Internet favorite".

On the show which will be held on a total of 6.000 square meters there will be 350 championship tanks. We will have pictures of all the entries online.

And offcourse much more...

SLS will have a friend/representative out at the Duisburg show. Will be looking forward to hearing updates and getting pictures from the show. Will also be looking forward to getting some posters from the Duisburg discus show... :wink:

Also, some of the Penang breeders which we have become good friends with will be participating in the competition. There will be some strong representation from the Penang boys. We have actually obtained a few siblings of some of the contenders at the show from some of these Penang Breeders.

Some updates:

-Instead of 336 there will be 350 tanks and there all reserved.
-We will be relocated to a better position for our webcams. Close to the championship tanks and the stage where the prize awards will be distributed.
- One of the judges (Oliver Lucanus) has a broken leg. His place will be taken by Mr. Peter Thode.
- We're preparing more and more pages for this event.. We will keep you all informed.
