Hey guys I,m looking at getting one of those nano systems on special at ASA , but I am unsure which one to choose.
The orca looks to have a better filtration system and looks easer to upgrade etc. But the jebo seem to have a better name for themselves and better construction.
Has anyone had experiance with either of these two ? And If so which do you prefer ?

Go with the orca.

Can't beat it for value for money, especially at those prices.

I dont think ASA should be allowed on this forum . They are making my life hell with all these specials & new products. !!
I think me and the Fish are the only ones in my family getting gifts this year.
I just checked out the ASA site And I'm Asking Santa for a new credit card!
I know this is a tough question for you Proteus , but what do you think are the pros and cons of these two nano tanks having seen them up close (jebo 40lt & orca 35lt) ?

Hi Mate

I have the large Orca/80Ltr and i love it. The filtration is awesome and can be customised to suit your needs. I also run the heater inside the trickle filter located in the rear of the tank. Perfect for shrimp tanks, office tanks or small lounge tanks.

They have fans in the lid to keep the thing cool and are relatively quiet. Dont have it to close to your head if in your room as they have a minumal buzz from the filter pump. Also be careful when lifting the lid. The front section lifts seperate to the rear so if you lift it by the lid at the front it will break. They are very fragil in this regard but common sense will see you through.

I beleive they come with Marine tubes so this needs to be changed. You will need to obtain a plant tube, which i also had to do. Its a pain un screwing the lid so if you can get the place where you buy it to do this so your warranty is safe, if you get one.

Cheers

Hey Aquamx I have purchased the orca 35 ltr .It should be here after xmas . What light would you suggest for it.
I will try to keep people informed with the set up and try post photos.
If anyone has ideas for a bio-type or what they would do with it I would appreciate the feedback . I'm thinking an amazonian planted tank with apistos.
