Has anyone had success with keeping keyhole cichlids together with Discus ... I am new to cichlids ... bad first attempt with angels ... better with discus ... did not even know at first these were cichlids ... now getting more interested in this entire family .... keyholes are from south america, are good community fish ... so good with discus ?

discus are not very good community fish.... i have never had keyhole cichlids and don't know much about them. i do know that i don't know of anyone else who keeps discus having them in the same tank as discus...
maybe someone else here will be able to give you more accurate comments.

My only experience with other Cichlids & Discus is having some Gold Rams in a tank with them...
Everything was fine, other than that, just Congo Tetras and BN's

fair enough, I will put 2 keyholes with my community tank, once I move the neons and corydoras out to be one with the discus. Thanks.

Mattzilla,
I have had discus in my community tank for years and they thrive along with everone else. People tend to think that discus are testy etc but as long as they are the boss everything goes well.
Dave.
