Broad Spectrum Medication

Has anyone used this medication? It is made by Aquarium Science.

It's main ingredients are Mafenide, Aminacrine & malachite green.

I dosed the tank yesterday arvo and was wondering if I need to dose again etc.

The instructions do not state if you need to redose.

I dosed this med as my discus have been rather listless and my red turq is looking a bit off. Most of the discus also look a bit thin also.

I dosed the tank with Levisimole 7 days ago so I think I will wait a day and redose the Levisimole as the other med should have dissapeared by then.

Hi Davo,

If you dosed the tank with Levamisole 7 days ago I'm not surprised your fish are off colour, the stuff works but it knocks the helll out of them. I really wouldn't be sticking anything else in the water between Levamisole treatments, it's enough to give King Kong the sh*ts on its own without a Malachite Green desert. If they've gone off their food and are a bit skittish that's normal after using the med' from helll.

you need to get the levimasole out of the water first by doing a few water changes. i totally agree with MAC on this one, it makes my fish extremely skittish.
