Im after an excellent specimen for a display tank. Adult or medium size is fine

flower horn, oscar, green terror, any type of large robust fish that will thrive being by itself or a partner.

Mate its a 4 x 2 x 2 .

I was going to suggest a Umbie or a Male Dovi but a 4x2x2 is really too small once they start getting above 18 inches long.

If your looking for a big display Cichlid there is a small Aquarium shop near springvale railway station that has a lot of nice big male fish for sale.

i have three male festaes here they are not exacty huge but 11. 14cm and are growing fast
once i get the pairs sorted out with the jags mate you quiet welcome to them as well

thast not the actual fish but his fish look spuitting image of that one
and his male is around 42cm and his female around 23cm

yep ill post a picture tomorw for you when i get time.

day 1 they are eating, courting and busy moving everything in the tank.

There colours tend to fade but when excited about his girly they develop a strong blue tinge.

boy these things are strong,,, no wonder why they are called tank busters.. I have no chance in moving these guys now lol

both have been cleaning the pot out all afternoon. They are now eating me out of home.

Best thing is they are so tame I almost have them hand feeding.

These blue freckled monsters are true gems of fish ..

that mean a 6X2X2. :? I'm very tempted, about 80:20 in favour , hopefully better sense will prevail and I'll have one less tank to scrub. :D . I'm up to 11 tanks atm and its going from a hobby, to almost a second job :?
